ABOUT THIS COURSE
Restoration 101 is a 1-day training course that teaches the fundamentals of restoration and job-site decision-making in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This course helps participants understand the “why behind the work.” You will learn how to identify water damage, detect moisture, and use essential restoration equipment. The training focuses on proper assessment, early problem identification, and real-world application.
Instructors use hands-on demonstrations and real job-site examples to guide the learning process. You will gain practical knowledge that you can apply immediately in the field.
By the end of the course, you will be able to evaluate site conditions, make informed decisions, and support safe and efficient restoration work in residential and commercial environments.
AGENDA
This 1-day restoration training course combines instructor-led training, real-world examples, and hands-on demonstrations. The focus is practical, real-world application.
You will learn the basics of water damage, including categories and classes of water. The course shows you how to assess affected areas using proper moisture detection methods. You will also learn how moisture meters work and how to interpret readings accurately.
The training introduces key restoration equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers. You will learn when and how to use this equipment for effective drying.
The course also covers mold awareness. You will learn what mold is, how to identify it, and the risks it can create. The training explains the correct steps to take when mold is present.
Throughout the course, you will work through real-world scenarios. These exercises help you understand how professionals make decisions on the job and how to approach projects with confidence and accuracy.
